one of my FAVORITE holidays. 3rd one not being home... :( but. new adventures, new life, new places is what i am enjoying! point is...there is no where else who has firework shows like UT and ID. so...because we aren't from here we just wandered and did our own thing since we had no idea what goes on here haha.
hunter only worked until about noon on saturday so we had the whole day! we went to the famous BBQ place in NC-- The Pit -- for lunch in downtown Raleigh. As soon as we got on the freeway it started POURING. There is nothing like east cost storms. But, The Pit was soooo good.
Afterwards we walked a few blocks to the little shenanigans going on downtown! But first...we had to take pictures with the cute colorful walls and buildings. :) Hunter gets so annoyed that i want to take pictures with everything everywhere. Ha! Good thing he pushes through though cause he always looks dang good. :)

ended the day with a nice little pool sesh, movies, hanging out, tater tot casserole, milkshakes, and more movies :)
So grateful for this country we live in and all of our freedoms! Happy Birthday America!!!
