love day traditions

Traditions mean a lot to me. Even though they can be cheesy or pointless, they change the feel of a day or a season! Although everyone else was out celebrating with their spouses or boyfriends, Hunter had to work. Luckily I can go in and visit him if its not super busy. So Saturday night I went into AT&T and waited until he was done with his customer and then he said to come in the back with him. We just sat there as he ate his betos burrito and talked. I enjoyed just looking at him. I feel like I don't get to do it enough. Siting there, being with him was all I needed. It was simple and short, but boy do I cherish those moments with him.  <3

This year we started our first Valentines Day tradition-- egg heart toast. Hunter and I both love both of them (and he's the best egg cooker, so he HAS to help :)) so I thought it would be perfect! Oh, and can't forget the strawberry milk. YUM!

I can't wait to keep this tradition going throughout the years! I ended up not going to Seattle, they canceled their trip which was kinda a bummer but I also didn't really care because that meant I could be with Hunter over the weekend and stay home. I was able to whip this little valentine together for him the day before Valentines Day. I would have done it sooner but I didn't think of the idea until I was on my way to work. Luckily, Wendy had extra macaroons from her order so I was able to purchase some from her!

I sure do love my Rooney. More than i'll ever be able to describe.

He still hates taking pictures haha. But I did manage to snap this selfie after church ;) Man, my valentine is HOT. I really, really love this man with every part of me.
