Christmas Sunday we had a great day at church with lots of snow! My sunbeams were adorable as we talked about the birth of Jesus. Im always so amazed at the little testimonies kids have that are so sincere and strong.
Christmas Cookies are always a must. These were some of the better ones i've baked!
Christmas Eve! I probably almost like this day better than Christmas Day, yep i do.
We were with Hunter's family this year, my first Christmas not at home. His family does a lot of the same traditions so i felt right at home. I went over to mom's in the morning to do a work out with her and help her cook while Hunter was at work. When he got home we went over and visited Calley and Hunter for a little while! ( Summer sales back end drama) We then headed to Grandpa Crandall's grave to wish him a Merry Christmas and leave flowers. We headed up to Uncle Shawn's for dinner and celebrating. They go all out! We had cute table settings with name tags and all with tons of good food! After dinner we played some games, told Christmas stories (which i really enjoyed that tradition they have), did the nativity- Hunter and I were Mary and Joseph, and then Uncle Shawn shared a beautiful song to end with and remind us of why we celebrate Christmas. It was very spiritual and touching to have that important lesson and story told to us. After the party we went home to open our pajamas and watch Elf! We all slept on the living room floor together by the tree.
We had to wake up quite early because Markel had to work at 6:30, so we woke up and did gifts! Then I went back to sleep for two hours until breakfast was ready. :) After breakfast we ran home to get ready and then went over to my house for most of the afternoon!
Our favorite gift! Now we're all ready for Thailand.
